BIGGEST CHALLENGE FOR POG YET
Price of Glory Wrestling returns to Michigan Sports Camps (315 N. Fiske Rd.) in Coldwater, Michigan this Sunday! Scheduled for August 1st is the 3rd "Glory Gauntlet." A huge 30 Man Over the top rope battle royal, much like WWE's "Royal Rumble." Two men begin, and every 1 minute after that, another man enters the ring. The only way someone is eliminated is if they are hurled over the top rope and land both feet on the floor below. The winner of this match will receive a POG Heavyweight Championship title shot at our October event.
The photo above shows Former Co-Owner, Jayme P and Josh Raymond after Raymond won the 2nd Glory Gauntlet under the mask as "Super Leopardo" fooling everyone.
The main event for the evening will be a Heavyweight title match between Jamie Eternal and champion, $Dollar$. In June $Dollar$ captured the title for the 2nd time by submitting the former champion, Jimmy Shalwin. Also in that triple threat match was Jamie Eternal who strongly feels he deserves a one on one shot at $Dollar$. He will get that opportunity on August 1st.
Other matches include a six man tag team match between "Team POG" {Sean Tyler & POG Tag Team Champions, Osyris and Idol Heinze} as they face off against "Team VIP" {Joseph Schwartz & H3RD}. The invasion continues as Jayme P and his contracted wrestlers interfere in the inner workings of POG.
Also, Noah Lott has his first title defense as Chaotic Champion in a Fatal Four Way against Jonny Lawless, Mr. Nifty and Jack Verville. Also, POG's newest sensation "The SI" is scheduled to take on a returning superstar! This and much more on August 1st!
Doors open at 5pm, the bell time is 6pm. General admission is only $8.00, with kids 10 and below for free. Bring this news article with you and get an extra $3.00 off one ticket.
"The Hype" Jimmy Shalwin outlasted everyone in the 1st 35 man Glory Gauntlet in November of 2006. It was two short months later when he captured the POG Heavyweight title for the first time.
LOUIS LYNDEN VACATES CHAOTIC TITLE
We just learned after a brief phone call with Price of Glory Wrestling owner Johnny Dynamo, that Louis Lynden has relinquished the Price of Glory Chaotic Championship. Johnny Dynamo simply told us that Lynden "Made the right decision" and this is all connected to the strange video that was posted on facebook a few weeks back. As of May 31st, the Price of Glory Championship does not have an owner... but that will change at Faded Glory V.
In light of the recent news, Dynamo has issued a mini Chaotic Tourney consisting of 4 matches in total.
Match #1: Keith Creme vs. Noah Lott
Match #2: Jack Verville vs. Mr. Nifty
Match #3: Winner from Match 1 vs. Match 2
Match #4: Winner from Match 3 vs. #1 contender, Jonny Lawless
Due to earning his #1 contendership status, Lawless will gain a bye to the final match in this tournament.
STRANGE VIDEO ON FACEBOOK FAN PAGE
We posted a strange video on our facebook fan page. It came in during a training night at Michigan Sports Camps. It starts when the person taking the video catches a comedic exchange between Ninja Joe and The SI, but turns weird when grunts from the next room occur. You can visually see Jack Verville, $Dollar$ and a "convulsing" Louis Lynden in this video. There's also another Price of Glory Wrestler in the background.
ADAM BUELLER'S DAY OFF
Main St. Youth- Version 2 tag team members, Adam Bueller and Ryan Epic have recently connected. As seen on POG 74 as an exclusive bonus video, as well as, on PoG's FACEBOOK FAN PAGE... Ryan Epic made a phone call... and it was directly to Adam Bueller.
We made contact with Bueller and asked about the request to face Ryan Epic at "Faded Glory V" and it seems that he is prepared to do anything to keep Ryan Epic in Price of Glory Wrestling.
ENTER - SPENCER IRVINE
Price of Glory Wrestling's newest "Super Intruder" is one unique individual. He is known as "The S I," pronounced, "Thee S Eye." For reasons unknown, this wrestler went unnoticed in Price of Glory as a referee until POG Owner, Johnny Dynamo sniffed him out. Since, he has lost to dominant POG Wrestler Sean Tyler... and scored a win over Ryan Epic.
After watching him wrestle twice, we have learned that he enjoy's to use the "S I Elbow" and the "S I Death drop." But most importantly, you must watch out for the vicious "OPEN HAND SLAP."
