Rekindling the Feud
Idol Heinze returned to action and put forth quite the efforts when he was the last man eliminated in the battle royal at this years "Unrated" event in April. He then tagged with CJ Otis as his mystery partner against Champion, Christin Able and Jimmy Jacobs at "Double Impact" a few weeks ago.
In late 2006, Heinze debuted in the corner of Jacobs as his henchman helping back up Jacobs against oncoming competitors. Things turned ugly when Jacobs lost power of the company, then was fired by Idol Heinze in July of 2007 as his acting manager. This forced Jacobs away from Price of Glory for a period of time.
It was shortly after that, as fate would have it, that Idol Heinze suffered a knee injury putting him on the sidelines till this past April. A similar occurrence that Jacobs had suffered throughout most of 2007.
Now both men are back in action, and signed to face each other at this years anniversary event, "Faded Glory III."
Gowen Gets a Leg Up on the Competition
No need to explain, just watch the video and see for yourself!
Enter the Mushroom Kingdom
What a strange turn of events in the saga that is Jimmy Shalwin and his former ally, "Gameboy" Max Morrison. It was revealed earlier this year that Gameboy was all but happy about Jimmy Shalwins rise to the top of Price of Glory in 2007. Talk of not "putting his name out there" and "helping out his partner" was mentioned after a shocking backstab on the part of Gameboy.
It all continued, and during the journey Gameboy was surprisingly about to capture the Price of Glory Chaotic Championship from Shalwin, and hold it to this date.
Shalwin has a few items on his agenda for "Faded Glory." (1) To not fall into the Chaotic Curse and capture the Chaotic title for the 2nd time, something no one has done in the championships 3+ year history. (2) To destroy his former partner.
Scheduled for June 22nd at Faded Glory 3 is an original match known as the "Mushroom Kingdom Deathmatch." We are not sure what this match is, but one of the clues given by Shalwin at one of the recent events is an item or items will be in the air. Don't miss this one, see it live.
Gone Again?
After making a strong showing against the Price of Glory Heavyweight Champion, Christin Able on May 4th... and then defeating Adam Bueller, Jake Omen and "Old Timer" Jeff King with a 2 on 3 disadvantage on May 25th, BAM is out again. This time, he's on the injured list.
If you were there, you seen "Old Timer" snap, placing his former love interest, referee Ms. Brandi in the dreaded Bearhug. Helping release Brandi, BAM was then caught in the submission hold himself. This time it was locked on much like an alligators bite. Many wrestlers attempted to break the lock. Eventually, King released the hold and left. His message was apparent. BAM was helped out of the facility by friends.
BAM has guaranteed that he will return, and when he does... Jeff King is first on his agenda.
Sign of the Times
"Bloody" Harker Dirge has informed Price of Glory Wrestling that he will be unable to compete on May 25th and June 22nd. We are now placing Sean Tyler's partner at "Double Impact" as yet another mystery partner. If Tyler is unable to come up with a partner, then he will go it alone against Bryan Skyline and the monster, Jamie Eternal.
The Curse of the Chaotic Title
After dismantling Mental Insanity at "Flashback," Jimmy Shalwin took a minute to inform the fans that the Chaotic title has a mystery surrounding it since it's creation in February of 2005. After wrestler who lost the Chaotic title, has not been successful in getting it back. In the long list of great champions who have held the title, not a single wrestler including Josh Abercrombie, N8 Mattson & Noah Lott were successful in their rematch. Jimmy Shalwin falls under this category now since "Gameboy" Max Morrison defeated him in a Nintendo Rules match at "Unrated."
This is not stopping Shalwin, as he made it clear that he's not interested in being another number... a statistic. Rather, he's interested in making history at "Faded Glory 3" and vows that he will break the curse and defeat Gameboy in a "MUSHROOM KINGDOM DEATHMATCH." He was vague on what this match would consist of, but we did catch that there would be numerous items hanging above the ring that would be legal to utilize. June 22nd will be Shalwin's last opportunity to face Gameboy for the Chaotic title.
